The incessant humming of fluorescent lights. The smell of mold, decay, and stale air. These are the features that describe an abandoned mall - and these are the features that describe your surroundings.

What used to be a place bustling with life and commerce has become a ghost of the place it once was, empty and largely silent. Black, foul-smelling water floods the first floor, obscuring anything that would help identify what is down there. Windows and doors on the second floor you’re on show the deserted parking lot outside, and more importantly, the state of the world outside the mall’s structure. Dry, flat land for miles. Thick clouds of toxic air. A burnt orange sun beating down on the Earth with radioactive waves.

Surely, there were people here before. But they are long gone.

The longer you’re forced to stay, unable to escape because of the elements outside, the more you’ll realize - something’s not right about this place. Things move that shouldn’t, your wounds heal without treatment, and there’s the ever-present feeling of someone, something watching.

Maybe you were never alone here to begin with.

Collected is an invite-only mutlifandom, horror-centered roleplaying game that takes place in an abandoned mall. The game will deal with horror themes like survivalism, post-apocalypticism, violence, monsters, and the supernatural. The focus for Collected is for characters to survive in the mall amid mysteriously supernatural and unfortunate happenings to unravel the mystery of who, or what brought them here - and more importantly, to find out what happened to the people who were there before.
